This is trail is great for a short out-and-back ride. It is a paved trail that is off-road and runs through a residential area. It ends at Sunridge Park which is a nice park with tennis courts, a large grassy area and a small playground.
Difficulty
There is a small hill at the beginning of the trail, but it is not too steep. The rest of the trail is flat. So depending on how your little one can handle hills you might want to adjust.
When I did this, I did it with the 1 year old on a child seat.
What’s nice about this ride is that it ends at Sunridge Park. This park has a small playground, and some open fields. There’s also a restroom if you need it.
Where to park
There is a small parking lot at the trailhead. It is located at the intersection of Sunridge Heights Parkway and Pecos Road.
Things to do
At the start of the trail there’s an ice cream place called CJ’s Italian Ice and Custard. It’s a great place to stop and get a treat after the ride.
If you need a break mid-trip, there’s a smoothie place just off of Green Valley Parkway. It is accessible just off the trail.
